Pay to win. This is completely boring game unless you want to spend $$$ at this point top 10 players have more that 60% territory owned in less then 1 month of new server. Free to play had only 2,3 castels, Game comes often with challenges that can only be completed buy spending money. If you look at strategy game just chose Something else.

I really enjoy this game -- in fact I'm now in my second time playing it in the past few years. The game as I find it now is very similar, and in some ways just as good. But They've crippled the players' ability to advance within the game without relying on purchases by imposing ridiculous build/recruit times. It's still a good game but requires a LOT of patience and free time.

If you like medieval games and like to build up a kingdom of your own and create alliances then this could be the game for you on the mobile platform. It’a got a surprising amount of things to do, so I’d say it’s worth a download!

This is the best game ever. A game that is accessible to the blind community, and also fund for both blind and people of vision. Can’t wait to explore what other games this creator have created that is fully accessible! Keep them coming lol

Play everyday

This is the only game like this that I can play. Most of the other games aren’t voiceover compatible so I’m grateful for that. My only suggestion would be to make the app support landscape mode and bring some of the keyboard commands to the IPad version. Also, it would be great to have the gesture to switch active castles be accessible. This would be much faster than having to go to the menu to do it.

This would be a great game! Except for the fact, it’s hard to invite people to join your tribe, it needs to be just a little bit more accessible than this.

Game starts off slow but takes off a little later down the line. If you have the time and patience this would be a great game for you!

I have been a long time player of this game, used to love playing every server before forts were even a thing. That being said this game is no longer enjoyable due to the heavy amount of botting used on every single server. The only way to keep up with the botting is to spend outrageous amounts of money (thousands of usd) and pay to win. For any and all new players I would highly advise to stay and away and not waste your time trying to learn this game building up your castles only to have them overrun by bots. The developers seem to have totally lost control over this game handing out 7 day bans every 3+ months never a permanent ban to repeat offenders. Their support team is too small to care about this game as the devs over extend their company constantly developing new games.

Great game

The decision to alter the patterns and change the features of the metropolis changed the game to a single focus. Bad choice. Was a great game, now mediocre at best. Bots are an issue but the true fail is the altered play system for the new keep.

Thank you for taking a moment to hear me out. I have been playing this game since its earliest version well over 12 years ago. In that time I have faced off in game with Alta Bot users over numerous servers and the abuse of these bots has over the years, continued to go unchecked. Shame on those players and shame on the administrator(s) of the game Who continue to overlook flagrant abuse by these cheaters. To the admin- Save your game & save some face by actively and permanently Banning Alta Bot users NOW

Been playing this game for 8 years now. Devs have made many changes over the years, making it easier to play and introducing new features, so that is positive. On the negative side, games has been overrun by bots. Just Google “Altabot” and you’ll see what I mean. The fact that it’s still running and it’s a paid for service shows you that the developers have not been able to stop jt from impacting the game. The bot helps you build, helps you attack and defend. Same bot users also spend lots of real $$ to buy in-game gold so I guess the devs don’t want to shut off their revenue stream. The devs have banned accounts that uses bots but those mostly are small accounts and the bot users will just use the bots to create more accounts. The main accounts that uses bots, which also spend lots of in-game gold, doesn’t get banned. Lots of users brag on discord about how easy it is to use Altabot to auto-defend your stuff. If you aren’t willing to spend money, and don’t want to bot, then this game is not for you.

To excel at the game you need skill. You could have a ton of money but someone smaller with more skill can still beat you. You also need a good team who supports each other

I am back after almost 10 years. Wonderful game. Seems hard at first but stick with it. I have reconnected with friends after years not playing

Best phone game I’ve gotten a place since going blind, just wish that it wasn’t so easy to lose my base to more experience players

It’s overall quite solid, (as long as your willing to invest in it), simple and enjoyable.

It is a great game and it is well put together, however if you lose your villagers you should not lose all of your resources and the gold. That’s the only problem I have.

Be careful, it is addicting.

I must say, the developers of this game have done a fantastic job over the past few years. They have continued to improve the game and develop it in such a way that it has kept me from getting bored. It's a tough game to really understand in the beginning but there are plenty of players out there who would be more than happy to help teach new players! Still playing ten years later.

This game is awesome! Not only is the crafting very interesting with what you can have your subjects build, the combat system is great too! I also love how this game is accessible for blind players of which I am a part. Keep up the great work!

Don’t like having to buy certain events to get lords.

I’ve been playing since USA4 and still play on there and decided to try the newest USA server and it’s more dead then the old USA4 server which is sad. One alliance and pretty much one player runs the whole server. The number 1 player on this server is over 700,000 and the 2nd place is in the 70,000! How is that possible??? This game is now who’s got money and who doesn’t!! Thanks devs!

Love it. There’s so much that goes into this game and it’s (almost) perfect. I used to play a decade ago and I’m really enjoying getting back into the game!

I have been playing on and off for years. It’s a lot of fun. Sometimes it can be so fun that it interferes with RL, but a good game. Working with your alliance and getting to know other players is really fun. There is a lot of strategy when it comes to forming alliances and fighting wars. It is a lot of fun when there is a lot of action and conflict with different alliances.

A little confusing at first but great game simple once you start figuring it out

A little slow on the beginning but after a month or so it’s the Best strategy game there is Hint to new players. You need to join an an established alliance ASAP.

Love this game, I'm completely addicted to it but y'all should add a few features from Evony, so that you can see when every alliance member last logged in, but it amazing.

There was a time when this game was great, but that era has ended. Do not waste your time with this game. The developers, despite claiming in their TOS that they will prevent bots and exploits from ruining gameplay, have refused to deal with a player on USA21 that has grown so fast that he is using bots and exploits to cheat, making the entire server a fool's errand. So many players have complained to support but nothing has ever come back explaining how a player could grow so quickly under the game rules. In less than a week, the cheater already had a city which completely makes game play un balanced. I welcome the devs to respond to this review, but I won't hold my breath. Avoid this game at all costs and by no means give them a dime of your money for in app purchases.
